Call for presentations
The program committee invites submissions for oral and poster presentations at the NCGS 2019 Annual Meeting.
- Oral presentations will have 15 minutes for presentation.
- Poster or map presentations are also open for submission. The maximum dimensions for submissions are 36×48.
- Papers associated with oral presentations and poster presentations are also encouraged to consider submission for inclusion in the society’s journal, The North Carolina Geographer.
- Please note that acceptance into the conference does not imply acceptance to the journal, only that the submission will also be placed in the journal’s peer review process for consideration.
All those planning to submit an abstract must be registered for the conference by October 18th to be included in the program.
Submissions must be made through the online submission system below. All submissions must include a title and an abstract (200 word maximum). The submission deadline is Wednesday, October 16, 2019. You will NOT receive a confirmation email on submission, but you should see your submission on the page as soon as you are done. The conference program will be available by October 25th and will receive email confirmation by the 25th.
